In Memory Print E-mail

We got Cosmo on November 23rd 2001 with nearly 5 years from a Swiss woman. She had found her husband in Italy and came back to Switzerland with him and twins too. Unfortunately for them it turned out that they are not allowed to keep the dog in there new home. Back then we were just looking for a new dog and in contact with various Borzoi breeders. Gabriele Schmid (http://www.sokolow.ch/) gave us the information.

The original name was Pippo, but we renemed him to Cosmo and he felt at home from the first day. One  funny thing to see was how he reacted when our brother in law talked Italian with him.

In the 4 years he could stayed with us, he was closer to us, as no previously dog.
There was his whole nature, but probably also because we've been through with him through a lot.

Lobelia came with one years to us. She was a "given back" to the breeder, because she do not obey like a sheepdog.  She trust woman from the first day, but it took a long time until she started to trust men too. With Lobela started our Second Hand dog story.

Cosmea was our first Borzoi (Russian Greyhound), which we had from Erich Frey (Switzerland). At a dog show Maria felled in love with the breed, which we remained true over 20 years.

Cherry was our first dog, a toy poodle.
